Terri, I am so sorry about Siggie!
We are away, and keep waiting for word about one of our cats that Ive been treating for CRF and cardiomyopathy for 1 ½ yrs. she took a turn for the worse (because Im gone), and may have to be euthanized. Regarding clots that paralyze: Ive had this happen to three cats, not during regular vet office hours, and emergency clinics euthanized. Two cats didnt seem to be in distress, another one cried and cried in pain. Then I had a feral cat that had a clot, I took him to my vet, he certainly didnt say anything about euthanasia dissolved the clot with meds, the cats has a limp as a result, but has been fine for about 5 years now.
