I can never understand how people would never want to get another pet; they just don't want to lose them again....but what a joyless life it would be without them! Before we started the cat rescue, every time one of our cats died, I'd rush over to our vet the very next day and ask whether they had any cats (he always has abandoned cats) - I didn't even ask questions, just grabbed the first cat that was available. All turned out to be the "best cats ever", as if they weren't all the best cats ever, anyway, right? Natalie
