I haven't really dealt with kitties with FIP,but a few years ago I new someone how took in a tom cat that had FIP she didn't know at first but after she had all her cats tested & they were fine.1 of her own were bit by the tom cat but her cat still was negative.I was told that alot of cats that are FeLV positive most have FIP,but I was told there is not a test for FIP like there is for FeLV.I'm not sure how true this is.I wish you all the best.Please keep us updated & if you find out more about it please let me know.Do you have a name for him?We will pray for use.               Anita ----- Original Message ----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, October 16, 2004 8:40 AM Subject: ??? Uveitis or FIP Hi all,     I have a few questions to ask regarding one of my rescues. I will give alittle info about him. Siamese, seven months old, been tested was negative, neutered, vaccinated. Okay, here is what happened apparently he had a accident or got smack in the eye by one of the others. His right eye look like it was bleeding but it was in the eye itself it wasn't coming out. So I took him to the Vet he said that it could be Uveitis or FIP and I went WHAT! So they took some blood the Titers read high. He isn't running a fever, eating, playing, going potty nothing out of the norm, just being himself as usual. In general he is very healthy looking. This was two days ago when he was taken to the Vet and put on some Cefa drops and eye drops. The eye has cleared up as if nothing has happened. I have spoke with the Vet he is glad to hear the news but will go back in four weeks to have the Titers checked again. In all the years of rescue I have never had to deal with a kitty that may have FIP. He is such an awesome kitty doesn't deserve this as in no kitty deserves this period. I hope this isn't the case because all my others have had contact with him of course since they eat, sleep, and play together.   :( So I guess what I am asking is for some output on this....
