I am from overseas, since I am living alone in MS I decided to adopt 2 cats 3 months ago Adri (female now 6months old) and Chema (male now 5 month old). They are my first pets ever. They are wonderful cats, I love them. I am very happy with them.
2 weeks ago, Adri became very sick, she didn�t want to eat, didn�t want to walk and had fever. I took her to the veterinary and the diagnosis was a urinary infection and feline leukemia. The veterinary told me that it is important check the other cat. Chema is FeLV(+). I am shocked with the diagnosis. I hadn�t heard about FeLV before. Adri received antibiotics and she is doing better.
I have been reading a lot. I found your group in Internet.
I am giving them cat vitamins and a homeopathic product for cats. But I am confused, The information I found is contradictory sometimes. I need help, I do not know what to do with my cats. I would like to start something to keep the healthier, but the veterinary told me I can not do anything only "wait and see" I cannot believe that I cannot help my cats.
Please help me, I need advice.
