Dear Lora:

So what is your price range?? I have told you that I am quite sure Jasmine
would be willing to work with you in terms of a discount, give time to make
payment or maybe even for gratis, but you can't just sit there and say it isn't
possible when you haven't even tried. I sent Jasmine an e-mail and forwarded
to her your original post to the talklist about Dartagnan.

I've also indicated to you that there is a student of AC who might be willing
to help you at no charge (just in return for an evaluation) if she is not too
busy. I sent Madelina an email and briefly described your problem. I am
hoping that she will contact you.

Most people don't become AC'ers because they are out to make big bucks like
Sonja Fitzpatrick who is on TV and popular with the Hollywood set (she gets
something like $350 per consult or more!). But they do deserve to be
compensated
for their services, just like anyone else. I dare say you have spent
hundreds on vet calls that have told you virtually nothing. You've considered
spending money on more tests, or diapers or Prozac, etc. etc. yet you insist
you
can't afford to give Dartagnan a chance to tell you his side of the story?!!?
You say you've spent thousands on repairing the damage he's done to your house
and are just about ready to send him on the big sleep if he doesn't change his
ways. A 30-minute consult would probably cost between $40-75, and there is a
good chance that if you explain your dire circumstances, someone like Jasmine
or Patricia, who are both very compassionate people, would be very
understanding and be willing to help you for whatever you could afford to pay.
Believe
me, saving a cat from being PTS because he is being misunderstood, perhaps, is
more important to them than making a few $. If you are able to understand WHY
Dartagnan is doing what he is doing, won't it be easier to decide what to do
about it? Can you imagine what it must be like for animals when we are so
dense and just don't understand what they are trying so hard to tell us?

I am trying to get ready to go out of town tonight and don't have any more
time or I could tell you about some of my experiences with animal
communication.
It is not hokus pokus, it is a very real phenomena. If I had a choice
between winning the lottery and being able to communicate psychically with
animals,
I would choose the latter, in a heartbeat. I daresay you are probably a lot
better off financially than I am, but if I have to make a choice between
taking one of my cats to a vet or "talking" to them when faced with a situation
that baffles me, I have found my money much better spend in "talking" to the
cat
first. Would you like to go to a doctor that you could not communicate with
and have him/her prescribe medications and treatment just by looking at you?
Would you want to be in a courtroom and not be able to speak in your own
defense nor have a lawyer who could speak on your behalf, with your life
hanging in
the balance?? I wish I had a few extra dollars...I would gladly pay to give
Datagnan a chance to express himself, but I am unemployed with umpteen furry
mouths to feed and so far in the hole $-wise right now I don't want to think
about it.

I do hope you will decide to make an effort to follow up on the suggestions
more than one of us has given you and find a way to "talk" directly with
Dartagnan.

Wishing you a peaceful holiday season and hoping you will get some answers to
your problem. Take care...

Sally in San Jose
