Hi Lora, I did use the incontinence pads, for Cody and nobody else used them. Once he got settled in as much as he could he had several favorite spots and I used the pads there. I had a few doors to replace but it saved my rugs and floors. He had already by then slowed down, but it did help keep him from further damaging his favorite spots.
