I know again thank you, it just is tough, when a living thing dies on your hand, especially when I was tring to save it.

I understand. I feel like that sometimes myself. On the flip side what if that little mouse was sick & dying and you gave him/her some comfort at the end?I look at it this way - you definitely didn't mean it any harm and you were trying to protect it and give it food & shelter. You did the right thing. I don't think anyone would have done anything differently.

My gosh I just can not believe it, it seems like everything I touch this month dies.....I know that is extreme, it is just the way I feel this moment.Cherie
Rachel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:Cherie -I think that was a nice thing to do - - no matter what you certainly meant no harm to come to the mouse. If you gave it food & water I don't think you killed it.Imagine what its fate would certainly have been if you hadn't even tried to help? You shouldn't feel guilty at all. I think that was a really nice thing to do.Rachel

I kept him in the garage away from the animals and my son, just in case he had something, and this morning I found him dead. What if I left him alone, would he have lived, so now this month I lost a perfectly healthy one day and gone the next Snowball, and now I think I killed this mouse....Thanks for listening, I have no one else to vent to, since I have to keep a firm upper lip for my son, who is also upset over this.Cherie
