Ouch, I did not realize that there were even any known cases in
Bellingham or Whatcom County. This is particularly significant because
there is a strong resistance to closing schools. Despite the fact that
they are gathering places often filled with members that don't practice
the best hygiene, young people are best suited to fight the illness.
Additionally, many families depend on schools to essentially be
caretakers of their kids, especially as it relates to food.
