you have a H262 source and can't convert it to a more mordern codec
without more quality loss - it's the same when you have MP3 and want
to convert your library to opus - you would need the original WAV or
at least FLAC sources to do that without degradation

it's not "my world" - it's about H264 to H265 which means quality loss

do you think MGM or Disney are working with lossy compressed video in
production and degrade quality with each step?
