A few years back I bought some low speed motors from a surplus place
that were perfect for drum carders. They were removed from Xerox
copying machines, and were of very high quality, meant for continuous
duty.. They cost me about $3-$4 each. I don't recall details, but
they were like 1/8-1/5 hp or something like that.
