I know when we motorized our Louette it cost about 175.00 for the motor,
etc.
It was a few years ago, but I don't think prices have gone up that much. I
just
looked in Grainger and a Dayton, 1/4 horse motor, variable speed is 110.00.
What kind of carder are you wanting to motorize? May be my DH would be
willing to help. Email me privately with carder type and I'll see if he will
contribute
his knowledge of electronics etc.
