I'm wondering why you say 5 inches? I was taught that 3 inches is a good
length, and 3 inches works fine for me. We have lots of Romney in the
Seattle area so I've spun a lot of 3 inch Romney. Any shorter would be
be difficult though.
5 inches seems rather hard to handle. Do you spin from the fold?
