Nope, 'twas my idea, I made a pair that covers the hand almost to the
base of the fingers no less, way back in 1988, from handspun left over
from a knit shawl :)
I was inspired by the 'fingerless mitts' of old novels, hoped to keep my
hands warm while my fingers were free for spinning, knitting, etc.
Works, too :)
Just goes to show there's nothing new under the sun, just recycled ideas
with (hopefully) better quality spinning and design.
