Hi,
One of the Mary Thomas books tells of a super
darning method. You pick up stitches in a row across
the sock, then knit a flap attaching it to the sock
at the end of each row, then when the flap is long
enough to cover the hole knit a couple more rows then
attach the last row with kichener stitch to the sock.
It is so tidy, comfy and quick. Of course some
of you may make tidy darns too. I never managed
to so I am happy with this method.
