Absolutely untrue. And I am amazed at the persistence of this belief
over the years! The method of harvesting is up to you. In Germany
they generally shear and in France they generally pluck. <<
I was pretty sure that my Giant was not the exception, but perhaps the
general rule, when fist fulls of fur started coming out as I was brushing
him. I plucked my German (white) giant. I didn't hear that they weren't
pluckable until I got the black Giant.
I love the length of the fur! It makes it so easy to spin up!
