Hi Robin
Amazing.... grey is a most sought after colour this and past couple of years
... hand spinners in Scotland love it !!!!!!
Maybe it is our spelling changes the users view...<ggg>
Seriously ... we specialise in breeding the grey spinners fleeces ... mainly
Shetland and it is soooo difficult to get a good fine whole grey ...there
was one of ours last year came out a shining blue grey ...
The grey Katmogets can be a very washed out light grey on the back .. .seems
a key English breeder wanted to put the fleeces in the 'white' wool sack!!!
We have selected for darker shoulders over the past 5 years ....
Glad the Shetlands are soo varied though
Robin
