flights.
Although there is no specific prohibition regarding knitting needles, the
current atmosphere of enhanced security makes it unlikely that knitting needles
or any similar sewing items will be allowed to pass through security screening
at this time. While we realize that this may be an inconvenience, you may want
to put them in your checked luggage.

aviation security news and information. In addition, we recommend that you
contact your airline directly for specific clarifications of the airline's
