My thanks to all who have written such nice things about the article. I was very pleased with the way the folks at Spin-Off arranged the layout, and of course the photography was great--most of my colors aren't really quite *that* saturated, the photos made me think of National Geographic, where somehow nature is never dirty or washed out by bright sunlight :)
It was a bright and bold issue, wasn't it? Not much that couldn't be called colorful! I really liked the granny square vest--not the natural dyeing, of course, tho that was lovely :) But I've always loved granny squares, and am happy they're back in fashion. so I think I feel a tote bag or throw coming on. It's funny, I had a wonderful little granny square book from probably 1980. It inspired a couple projects in its time, then I finally got rid of it, probably 10 years or so later.
