Having done some conservation work for our local museum I would like to mention that contact with glass is not of importance as glass is inert. What is far more important is that a wooden frame will off-gas and this is what will do damage to your textile if framed. Lining the frame with acid free mat board will help. Absolutely there should be no contact of the textile with the wood.
