I'd like to have both very soft, next to the skin fleece and stronger,
rug fleeces.
The Navaho claim that their Navaho Churro (the original, 'unimproved'
sheep, with dual coats) give this very thing. The undercoat can be soft
enough for baby clothes, while the strong, long outer coat is what is
used for the wonderfully durable and beautiful Navaho rugs.
