This is true with any of the double coated wool breed, also llama. BUT you
have to spend time dehairing the fleece in order to obtain that soft under
coat. Some of the mills offer dehairing services, in which you loose about
50% of your fiber. The cost vs using a soft wool breed or a single coated
animal is more because of the extra work envolved. Gail White
