Hello, Recently I purchased a Lendrum double treadle wheel after spinning on an Ashford Joy for several years. So far I like the Lendrum with one exception and am wondering if I am doing something wrong re adjustments.... plying on this wheel seems to require lots of effort. I have, or course, adjusted the uptake on the wheel and moved the drive band but still after getting just a moderate amount of yarn on the bobbin I'm working awfully hard to get the remainder of the yarn on - medium weight yarn. The only thing I haven't tried yet is changing out to the bigger flyer setup. Any ideas?? Thanks! Jennie Watkins Port Ludlow Wa
