I have to disagree, respectfully. I used to feel the same way, but over the
years, after lots of study and experiencing the difference myself, I know I
was wrong. While you probably right about the earth not being totally
organic, any more, due to acid rain, air pollution, etc., organically raised
animal and/or crops are a far cry from a non-organically raised one. I
personally, for one, prefer organically raised fibers, as I am terribly
allergic to many of the chemicals used in dips and such for parasite and pest
control. I KNOW when I get a fleece that has had this stuff used on it, even
after scouring, my skin is that sensitive. Of course, internal dewormers
won't have an effect like this, but if a shepherd is willing to raise the
animals as organically as possible, it is a pretty safe bet they won't be
using these dips that I am so allergic to. I could go on, about the
differences over all, but am not sure if that would be within the scope of
this list, and don't want to get in trouble. I have personally witnessed the
differences on mine, and friend's, stock, my family and friends who eats these
foods, and my garden that I grow. After years of using conventional, and
getting steadily sicker, and having watching resistance build in parasites and
pests to drugs and chemicals, then switching to organic, and watching the huge
change, I won't go back to conventional at all. There is a huge, huge
difference between conventional and organically raised anything. Just my 2
cents, Kim
