animal husbandry even when it applies to the fiber critters? Just wanting to
be sure I don't over step the boundries.

Hi Kim,
Policy and policy.... In general it seems better to me to concentrate
FiberNet at the fiber and fiber use end of the chain. Production of
fibers whether animal, vegetable, or synthetic is a bit out of the
scope of FiberNet. There are many on-line places that are better
suited to those specialities. In the example of sheep raising the
sheep list has many experts such as veterinarians and nutritionists
who aren't on FiberNet but who are wonderful sources of useful
information. Go to
https://www.listserv.uu.se/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=sheep-l&A=1
to subscribe. If the web page comes up with an error message, just
click on Continue.
The same principle would apply to raising camelids, goats or rabbits
or whatever. Likewise for growing cotton, flax, etc. So, yes, in
general let's limit FiberNet to topics starting with the fiber rather
than producing it. The boundaries are blurry of course.
Best,
Ron
