After waiting several hours, doing a bunch of googles with no luck, and reading and rereading the book that came with the loom, I decided to try winding on the 1st section in spite of the problem of winding on top of the warp extension cords.

All I can say is, I'm NOT impressed by sectional warping, if this is the way it's supposed to be done. This sloppiness of tension would not be acceptable to me on any regular-beam loom.

And of COURSE the turn counter doesn't work now that Zack is not available. <growling> So I've had to pull the section off again to wait til he's home and can look at it--I've done my poking, prodding, and other attempts to fix it to no avail.

On the plus side for a dumpy day, for a little while it snowed fairly nicely. It's really a bummer to have a winter with so little snow. Disastrous for the local businesses that depend upon skiers and snowmobilers to make ends meet, too. Several ski resorts have laid off as many as 40-50 employees each.
