either have a great dog or a terrible dog and there is very little
in-between. From personnel experience I would have to agree. If you have a
good one then you have a great family and guard dog. If you have a bad one
you have a dangerous animal that will kill what it is supposed to be
guarding. 

I think you need to be very careful and get a good one. Remember they are
all cute as puppies. Go and see the parents and ask lots of questions. That
goes for any dog really and you probably already new that.

About Great Pyrenees - I read that they have a strong tendancy to fight 
with other dogs, or at least other Pyrenees. Is this true?
