Thanks for all the great responses everyone! Our other dog (not the old
one I was talking about before) is half Great Pyrenees. We think the
other half is Australian Shepherd. I always thought her undercoat would
be great to spin because it is so soft and kind of naturally sticks to
itself. Now if she would just stop laying under the spruce tree and
getting sap in it!
About Great Pyrenees - I read that they have a strong tendancy to fight
with other dogs, or at least other Pyrenees. Is this true? I love the
breed and have thought about getting one, especially if I ever get some
goats.
