Yeah, I guess so. As long as you quit programs and run one at a time.

I'm running 6 internet related programs right now, using about 300 meg.

Music wise I usually run Finale, Logic and Maybe Something like 
Reason, Along with MS Word often.

I'm running 384MB on a Powerbook G3 (Pismo), but when I go to OS-X 
I'll definitely go above the 500MB mark. It loves spare RAM.
