Yes, stripping attachments is what I meant[*]. A filter to strip attachments is easy. A filter to strip attachments which also leaves a way to let them in under special circumstances adds an extra layer of complication. I see no reason to add the extra effort. I agree that there's no need to block the entire post; just strip out the offending elements. mdl [*] And a more accurate way of putting it, too.
