You mean that in a 4-part piece, you type in the lyrics FOUR TIMES? I guess I could see that if the syllabification were different between the parts (though I'm having some difficulty thinking of many situations in which that would be appropriate -- Italian elisions?), but most of the lyrics would still be identical. -- David W.
