Well, I don't miss changing the font filmstrips in and out, and I don't miss the giant floppy disks, and I definitely don't miss changing the chemical baths in the processor. I do miss the basis coding paradigm though.


I must confess, I get a similar pleasure out of writing HTML code for web pages. It's rather similar. I know I waste a certain amount of time typing out phrases like "<div class="quoted">" or whatever, but I would never want to use one of those wretched wysiwyg HTML editors. i don't know if it's because I'm old-fashioned or if I just love the logical structure of it.
