I'll try and pin down exactly where it happens here.I have had this behavior also. It was in a job that I had to get out, so I dealt with it, I don't remember how.
Do you also get a file corruption message when trying to insert bars?
What do I do, log it with MM via support? Did you do the same?

Ah-hah! The second appearance! I couldn't get anyone here, or at MakeMusic, to acknowledge this strange behavior when I reported it a month ago!!!
Mine (FinWin 2005a) happens when I insert measures into certain files - I get the same strange looking time sig at the end of the file, and seem to have many phantom bars following the strange-looking time sig.
I can usually delete the extra bars, by selecting one bar in front of
the phantom bar through the end.
A few times now I've had a stubborn problem where, after deleting bars, a weird time signature that is very difficult to get rid of appears. It seems it's 0/0 time (!!) although the second number does not appear.
Has anyone else seen this? Know what it is?? An easy way to get rid of it???
