Now that the developers of iKey have gone and pissed that all away, I don't really have much of a choice but go back to QuicKeys. I was hoping for improvements -- especially performance improvements -- since the last time I looked at it.
I guess I'll give the demo a whirl.

I can't live without it but I can't say I'm totally satisfied. Some operations take a lot of adjustment to get right. For example, in Finale, the Document Options window always opens named after the last set of options you looked at ...

... I lost a few hours of my life trying to figure out why one macro would always work just after starting up Finale, but then nearly always fail! Anyway, after much tweaking I seem to be able to get it to do what I want (such as using "Window name starts with ..." instead of "Window name is ..." as in the above example).
The more I use it the better I get at it, but as you can see I'm not exactly forward in recommending it. I believe there's a free demo so the best thing to do is download it and try it.
The guys at CESoft have been busy upgrading it and v3 was quite different (and better) than v2, so its being aggressively developed. Performance actually improved between v2 and v3 - not something yuou expect these days!
