Outside of the demo showing how changes to notes in either view show up in the other window, and how the coloring of expressions with spacing adjustments differs, I'm not sure I can see a justification for it. Well, maybe if you wanted to copy something from one part to another? But that's really more about displaying two different parts side-by- side, not part and score. But, it seems to me that implementing display of multiple parts theoretically is no different from implementing display of a part and the base score. Does anyone know if Sibelius can display two dynamic parts simultaneously? If not, it would be a pretty serious ommission. -- David W.
