If you look at the subject, it says FinMac. I suppose you were busy
dealing with a problematic drive or something.
Macintosh OS X has Audio Units. Windows doesn't. Nada. Audio Unit
performance is quite a bit better than the standard player.
However, on the Mac version, I think things are a little sluggish. The
copy/paste stuff seems to be slow, at least on the Mac Mini I've tried
it on. I have yet to install 2006 on my home Mac and PC.
