Well, it has happened again, and maybe this has to do with conversion
from older documents. Now neither the chord tool, nor the tuplet
tool will work. (This is in an up-converted file.) And opening a
new 2006 default document exhibits the same behavior. So, I can
again delete and rebuild the preferences, but how can I prevent this
from happening every time I go to work on an old file?
Frustrating!
