Absolutely *not*. There is more than enough over-tended old material.

Contrast this: I have in my possession the entire life's work, in 14 sealed
crates, of composer Gilles Yves Bonneau. He died in 2002. Would you like to
take this music, catalog it, tend it, edit it, publish it, perform it? In
fact, nobody will. I do what I can as his publisher when he was alive.
Gilles was as good as (and better than) any competent Baroque composer, but
who laments his work (most waiting for premiere) as much as some
centuries-old pieces of questionable value to 21st century life?

It's worth thinking about if you're hunting for music to preserve. Our own
time is screaming for your attention. When I die, Gilles's work (and mine,
too) goes to the dump. Pick a box. I'll pay shipping.
