With all due respect, I doubt very much this had anything to do with it. In the 
first place, as David pointed out, Dolet provides better Finale imports into 
Sib. than does ETF. In the second, I doubt that Sib. has kept up with the 
latest ETF format changes, so importing an ETF from Fin07 would probably yield 
extremely dubious results, if such an ETF were available.

No, I feel certain that the reason ETF is not included in Fin07 is that it is 
deprecated and unreliable in Fin07. A user saving to ETF would risk losing a 
great deal of work, so they removed the option to save as ETF. I've been told 
that even in Fin06, you can lose work if you save as ETF, but it's nothing like 
all the linked part work you would doubtless lose if you saved as ETF in Fin07.
