Yes, and I'm sure every orchestra maintains lists for first call Accordian players, and other instruments NOT regularly in the Orchestra.

You reinforced my point. Saxophone is not a regular part of an Orchestra. Wind Ensemble/Orchestra, yes, but a traditional Orchestra, no.
