What? What is a DVD-VR?

Look, I tested it out. It copies DVD Videos fine. 4.7 gigabyte videos. I don't know about using it to copy an 8gigabyte Pirates of The Caribbean movie, but it works fine for home movies you did with say iMovie and want to make multiple copies of.

Yeah, but why buy Toast when Disk Utility can do it? You don't need to use Mac The Ripper to copy a 4 gigabyte DVD. Toast or Disk Utility can make a copy. You guys are suggesting a LOT of work to copy a DVD.

Disk Utility. Simple. Slow, but simple and free.

Unless it is a DVD-VR, in which case Disk Utility will not be able to copy it. Full stop. No way. That's what I was saying.
