I don't know how this kind of thing is handled on OS X, but on
Windows, it's *harder* to do it that way than it is to use the
default browser. Bloody stupid on MM's part.

I had the same problem early on with OS X and Safari, until I discovered that I could not choose Netscape as my default browser from inside Netscape, but had to do it from inside Safari!! This wan't related to Finale, but to OS X.
