I don't know how this kind of thing is handled on OS X, but on Windows, it's *harder* to do it that way than it is to use the default browser. Bloody stupid on MM's part.


Just another example of MakeMusic's becoming more like Sibelius's old "do it our way because we know best -- whatever browser you're using doesn't matter, our greater wisdom tells us it sucks so we'll use IE and Safari."

It's not just stupid on MM's part -- it's arrogant!

It's also possibly another indicator that this release was really supposed to come out in August (by which time they would have made their documentation work properly in any browser) but the developers were forced to make it "gold" and publish it a month early so it would hit the shelves at the same time as Sibelius 5. I wonder what other features aren't quite ready that we'll have to take their word that they'll fix it in an update patch soon. How often have we heard that before?
