Just use the dropdown and enter the values, they'll stick even when they
are invisible.
FWIW, recent versions of Finale has "correct" (=multiple) settings in
the default files for things like accent+staccato.
If anyone finds this UI unintuitive ;-), feel free to send a request to
MM...
