That was the whole logic behind Garritan's willingness to let Finale license a subset of their sounds -- show people what the possibilities are but leave out just enough important instruments that people feel the need to go spend several hundred dollars more to get the extra libraries. That's why the JABB and GPO have so few overlaps, as well.
A company makes much more money selling two different but complementary sets. :-)
