No, this is all correct, it is definitely a problem with the plugins showing as folders. I read on the Forum that this is a known problem with the Finale installer. I don't have time to trouble shoot it right now, but will soon. It seems it requires some developer tools, or possibly a complete uninstall and reinstall of Finale. We'll see, it is certainly an annoyance...
