Well, some printer drivers allow you to print to file for later printing. I used to use a PS printer driver, print a Finale document to a ~.ps file, and use Ghostview / Ghostscript to comvert the ~.ps file to a ~.pdf.
No, I spent a lot of money on Acrobat to actually have all these options and the compatibility. Any printer driver on the Mac will let you print to a PS file, but the added complication is, imo, unacceptable.
I have spent about twice as much money on the Finale upgrade as was advertised because of the added customs and postage. I bought it specifically to be compatible with my Intel Mac. I also spent 200 Euros to get the latest Acrobat upgrade. Now I find out that the two applications I need most don't work together?
I must say I am not amused. Johannes _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
