that this is an issue that we have identified as a compatibility issue
between Adobe Acrobat and Finale 2009. If you intend on using Finale
2009 we do have solutions available in the following article from our

This issue does not appear in Finale 2010, and as a Finale 2009 user you
would be eligible for upgrade pricing. Information on upgrading to
