Aha. It only works on the keypad. The regular enter key does nothing. That
was my problem.

In Finale 2012, using some quick tests on a default staff (no
transposition) I can't cause a failure using speedy-9 and this technique.
Everything happens as I would expect it to. (Christopher still has not
confirmed that his issue happens in Fin12.) I would love to discover a
reproducible scenario in Fin12.
