When I tried this just now in FinMac 2012, I had trouble getting the quarter
note head into the Shape Designer. According to the Character Map, option-q is
the stemless quarter note head in Maestro font, but it kept giving me sf
instead. Sf is SUPPOSED to be option-s, and when I tried that it gave me a
stacatto and accent. The parentheses entered no problem. Changing the font gave
the same results. Hmm.
