Thank you all for your answers ! My question was probably not clear as i do not really have a problem with the parenthesis.
To create and move the smallest steam less note, i've tried the method Christopher mention but ledger lines are really problematic unless you have a special technique (??) and it obviously doesn't work well with transposition … I've also tried Jef's method - it is in the manual - but i end up with a long stem (picture attached) that i've never been able to resize - but maybe i'm missing something ? Entering a grace note, removing the stem and move it works ok for me but it will move with spacing. As i said before i tried setting grace note spacing on "keep current" which work pretty well for the trill but then "normal" grace note spacing is wrong - too close to the note i applied the grace note to … is that normal ? If it is then it's really a shame because without this problem TGTOOLS 'make parenthesized trill note" would work perfectly ! (apart from the space it creates at the beginning of a measure ...)
